Job description

Job Summary:
We're a dealership investing seriously in growth - and we're looking for a Used Vehicle Manager who's ready to take the reins on inventory, pricing, and profitability. If you live and breathe vAuto, know how to turn a lot in 30-45 days, and love the thrill of beating last month's numbers, this is your seat.

$185,000-$275,000/year

Responsibilities
  • UV acquisition, reconditioning, pricing and inventory turn rate
  • Sourcing inventory through trade-ins, auction, and wholesale channels to hit unit and mix targets
  • Daily market pricing and appraisal strategy using vAuto/Provision to stay ahead of the local market
  • Managing reconditioning timelines with service and body shop to protect front-end gross
  • Set sales goals, track progress, and lead team to achieve and exceed those quotas
  • Provide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing deals

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of used vehicle management experience in a franchise dealership
  • A track record of growing units, gross, and turn rate - numbers you can speak to specifically
  • Leadership skills with a real passion for training fellow employees
  • Enthusiasm with high energy throughout the sales workday
  • Hands-on experience with vAuto, CDK, or Reynolds - or a fast learner who picks up new systems quickl
  • Goal-oriented, friendly personality, especially when negotiating pricing
  • Quality customer service, communication, computer and basic math skills
  • Clean driving record & valid driver's license
