ABOUT THE JOB:
The Director, Product Management is responsible to grow revenue, penetration, margin expansion and ROI for our Essentials (value added products and services) offering in North America as well as specific assets such as our innovative Flex solution. This person will own the vision and lead a multi-disciplinary team towards success giving it high visibility internally among disciplines and management. The Director of Product Management is responsible for translating the general strategic direction from senior management into a set of concrete strategies and plans for the products he or she is responsible for. The job requires strategic vision, leadership, and a set of marketing skills that can translate into successful sales, share and profit results.

Core Responsibilities:
• Conduct market research and customer polls to better understand needs, expectations, competitive landscape and assess opportunities for Product Lines as well as enhanced Value Proposition
• Lead a small team tasked with the tactical functions of product marketing, helping to drive revenue, market share, and other key financial metrics for the Essentials (value added products and services) offering in North America
• Lead new product initiatives through all stages of its lifecycle including justification, development, forecasting, pricing, launch and marketing
• Support programs with Sales enablement, trainings, tool development, performance management to grow Revenue streams
• Maintain, identify and pursue margin expansion opportunities and other financial enhancing programs.
• Strategic, annual, and marketing planning/re-planning
• The DPM must be an inspiring leader, experienced in managing multifunctional teams throughout an organization
• Leadership of activities inside and outside the company that will result in successful implementation of marketing plans
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 7+ years of increasing responsibility in creative product marketing across multiple markets and products, preferably within the B2B arena and with capital products
  • Experience successfully developing, launching, managing product marketing programs
    • 5 years' experience leading cross-functional teams to time-bound product performance outcomes
    • Category Management, NPD, Product Launch, Project Management.
    • Internal and external programs and toolkits
    • Success validation factors and reporting
  • Demonstrated continued engagement in current B2B marketing trends and skills.
  • Business Acumen, Sales & Operations exposure with Financial understanding.
  • Strong analytical abilities and Excel skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills including the ability to communicate effectively up, down and across organizational levels.
  • Process oriented, comfortable with Salesforce (CRM) and SAP (ERP) systems.
