    The Impact You'll Make in this Role

    As a Semiconductor Manufacturing Value Stream Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. This role branches between R&D, business, and enterprise supply chain (plan, source, make and deliver) and supports products for the semiconductor industry. You will make an impact by:

    • Developing and executing supply chain improvement programs to reduce cost and improve stability, quality, and service of products
    • Successfully launching new products ensuring cost, quality, and service performance
    • Developing and implementing strategic operational plan by identifying supply chain projects to support the business strategic plan, customer needs, and division level goals
    • Managing capital expenditure discussions within responsible areas to support growth and maintain long term sustainability and to implement productivity and technology improvements
    • Leading supply chain architecture to improve flexibility and speed of global supply chains
    • Ensure product change projects are completed on time and with minimal service and quality disruption

    Your Skills and Expertise
    To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
    • Twelve (12) years of experiencein a manufacturing or value stream role in a private, public, government or military environment
    • Five (5) years of experience in a supervisory role

    Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

    • Experience leading global manufacturing teams and driving global priorities
    • Experience in the semiconductor industry
    • Proven history of collaboratively working with manufacturing plants, laboratories, and business teams

    Work location:

    • At least 4 days a week in office at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN

    Travel: May include up to 20% domestic/international

    Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
