Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Value Stream Manager II is responsible for leading all aspects of a manufacturing value stream to achieve excellence in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. This role provides operational leadership, drives continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing principles, manages budgets and resources, and develops high-performing teams. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Value Stream Manager oversees 24/7 operations, promotes a strong safety culture, supports employee development, and implements strategies to improve productivity, quality, and profitability. The ideal candidate has manufacturing leadership experience, strong analytical and financial skills, and a proven ability to lead change in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Duties:

Reporting directly to and support the facility plant manager in development and execution of strategy to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost

Responsible for all aspects of the value stream on a 24x7 basis

Actively build a work environment that fosters operational, team and individual excellence by demonstrating effective leadership, communication and people support behaviors.

Ability to effectively communicate at all levels, plant staff and senior management.

Management of annual operating plan inside the value stream and deployment of resources to deliver production commitments in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

Provide leadership to develop safety culture required to achieve and sustain world-class safety performance, including development and execution of effective safety processes.

Competent in Lean Manufacturing execution, and process based continuous improvement. Provide Leadership to establish a culture of continuous improvement leveraging Lean Manufacturing principles.

Comply with all local, state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

BA/BS degree preferred in engineering or business.

5+ years' experience in manufacturing operations.

Management/supervisory experience required.

Must have financial aptitude, analytical skills, proven leadership effectiveness.
