Role Overview:
We are looking for a Director of Corporate Security to own our physical and personnel security program, including strategic direction and management of tactical execution. This is a senior leadership role for someone who has operated at the intersection of cleared-facility management, classified program execution, and fast-moving organizational growth. You will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving the security infrastructure that enables our cleared workforce to do their best work - without cutting corners on compliance.
Responsibilities:

  • Partner on Information Security: Partner with the Information Security team to ensure an integrated approach to overall security across the entire organization
  • Industrial Security: Own the entire industrial security program, including managing a team of FSOs, working through DD-254 mechanics, and development and maintenance of Technology Control Plans and other documentation
  • Classified Space Operations: Guide the planning, construction and accreditation of classified spaces across multiple domestic sites, working creatively to speed up the process as much as possible.
  • Physical Security: Design and manage physical security programs across all company facilities, including access control, badging, CCTV, visitor policy, and guard force.
  • Internal Investigations: Lead investigations into internal security incidents, including counterintelligence and inside threat.
  • People & Program Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a security team capable of supporting a rapidly growing cleared workforce

Minimum Requirements:
  • 10+ years of progressive security experience, with significant time in an FSO or Deputy FSO role at a cleared defense contractor
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI)
  • Deep working knowledge of the NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117), ICD 705, and related government security directives
  • Demonstrated experience managing FCLs and personnel security programs in DISS
  • Strong relationships with DCSA and familiarity with its oversight and inspection processes
  • Proven ability to lead a team and build security programs in a growth environment

Preferred Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a government PSO, security specialist, or military security manager
  • Familiarity with export control regulations (ITAR/EAR) as they intersect with security programs
  • Experience supporting security programs across multiple geographically distributed facilities
  • Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed tech company

Why CHAOS?
  • Health Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision benefits 100% paid for by the company
  • Additional benefits: 401k (+ 50% company match up to 6% of pay), FSA, HSA, life insurance, and more
  • Our Perks: Free daily lunch, 'No meeting Fridays', unlimited PTO, casual dress code
  • Compensation Components: Competitive base salaries, generous pre-IPO stock option grants, relocation assistance, and (coming soon!) annual bonuses
  • Team Growth: 300 employees and counting across 5 global offices

Salary Range: $200,000 - $325,000
The stated compensation range reflects only the targeted base compensation range and excludes additional earnings such as bonus, equity, and benefits. If your compensation requirements fall outside of the range, we still encourage you to apply. The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
