Description

AdvancedPCB, a printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturer, is seeking a reliable, motivated Plating Operator to join our growing company. The ideal candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment, show a true sense of urgency, and be willing to cross-train.


Job Description:

Plating Technician - Experience working in a fast paced, production environment. Knowledge in production of printed circuit boards is a plus. This is a full-time position.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Operate wet process equipment for PCB panel processing through functions that include manual copper plating, gold immersion, electroless copper, electrolytic gold, outer layer etching, and hot air level processing.
  • Set and maintain chemical processing equipment within operational parameters.
  • Carefully load racks in plating tanks while ensuring proper temperature/current of baths.
  • Load the line
  • Work around chemicals and exercise safe chemical handling
  • Follow customers specifications
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push over 20 lbs.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Maintains and clean all department equipment
  • Screwing in items by hand (Tightening clamps manually)
  • Ability to work with hands for extended periods of time.
  • Position involves working with chemicals in a safe and monitored environment.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position requiring available to work during standard business hours and mandatory weekend overtime when needed to meet production goals. Shifts may include weekends when schedule details are provided in advance.


Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: HS Graduate or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of experience, in manufacturing.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Must be able to multi task in a fast paced environment
  • Work closely with production staff and be a great team player
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, pull, and push over 20 lbs.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time

Compensation:

California Hourly Pay Range: $20.00 to $24.00 USD | DOE

The actual compensation offered is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.

This position requires access to controlled technical data and/or participation in activities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). As such, all applicants must be U.S. persons, as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, or individuals with refugee/asylee status). Candidates who do not meet ITAR eligibility requirements will not be considered for this position.
