Excel at Woodbury for Rehab and Nursing is looking to hire a Full-Time Food Service Supervisor.
Nursing Home Kitchen Experience a must!

Duties include:
  • Plan, assign and inspect the work of Food Service Staff.
  • Schedule and assign staff, prepare department payroll for data entry if required.
  • Manage and maintain departmental budgets.
  • Supervise the storage & care of food and supplies.
  • Oversee the cleaning of the kitchen, storage, dining areas, and equipment.
  • Inspects Residents' trays for consistency with a specified menu.
  • Coordinates and plans food preparation activities for special events.
  • Work with the interdisciplinary team to ensure Residents' requests and needs are being met.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Supervisory Food Service experience at a healthcare facility.
  • ServSafe or similar certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of large scale & therapeutic food prep.
  • Solid leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Prior management experience
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to work as a team member.

Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: M-F 11AM-7PM
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
