Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Help and Assit as needed with the Food Services Director and Administration to keep residents satisfied with food and during dining programs
  • Assist with meal preparation and ensure food is received, stored, and prepared according to dietary standards
  • Maintain kitchen, food storage and preparation areas in a clean, safe and sanitary condition at all times
  • Responsible for opening and closing the kitchen
  • Adhere to cleaning schedules and regulatory food safety standards and practices
  • Document temperatures of food prior to service, refrigeration and freezer
  • Assist with preparation and execution of special events and theme meals
  • Preform other duties as needed and assigned

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must Possess a Genuine and Caring Attitude Towards Seniors
  • Minimum of 1 Year of Experience as a Chef experience, Healthcare Setting Preferred
  • Good Communication Skills and Ability to Interact with Residents and Staff
  • Able to Lift 50 Pounds
