On behalf our client, Procom Services is searching for a Software Validation Engineer for a contract opportunity in Hillsboro, OR.Â
Software Validation Engineer Job Details
Candidate will develop test modules and frameworks for Intel's security software. Candidate is expected to design test cases given specifics of the software functionality. Setup and maintain test platforms/lab equipment, debug and resolve hardware issues, and maintain automated SW build process. Candidate will also execute test cases for BATs, functional & regression testing, update results in Test management system. In case of any issues, candidate needs to file bugs in the bug tracking database and assist customers/development team to reproduce issues and verify fixes.Â
Software Validation Engineer Mandatory skills
At least 3 years of experience developing in C++ and writing unit tests for the developed modulesÂ
At least 2 years of experience with unit/functional/reliability/performance test case designÂ
At least 2 years of experience with 1st level bug triaging to determine the defective module and provide appropriate logs to developersÂ
