Job description

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

As a top-performing short-term rental hosting company, we manage over 75 properties across Colorado Springs, Teller County, Breckenridge, Palmer Lake, Myrtle Beach and Florida. Our mission is simple: to create stand-out guest experiences by delivering beautiful, welcoming spaces — and that starts with YOU.

???? Location & Property Type

This position is primarily for a Christian retreat center located in Jefferson, Colorado.

  • This property serves guests seeking rest, reflection, and connection

  • We are looking for team members who either share or respectfully support these values

  • Cleanings at this location require a higher level of care, respect, and attention to creating a peaceful environment

This role is part-time in Jefferson, requiring travel to Jefferson 1-2 days per weeks with the opportunity to pick up additional hours nearby in:

  • Lake George, Colorado (multi-cabin property)

  • Divide, Colorado

HOW WE DO THINGS:

We are a people-first company. That means treating our guests and our team with care, respect, and real support. We don’t just offer a job — we offer a pathway to flexibility, growth, and the kind of work-life balance that actually works.

OUR CORE VALUES:

★ Have Fun. This value is so important for remaining sane in the fast-paced world we live and work in. When you enjoy the people you work with and your environment, it’s so much easier to focus your passion on creating clean and beautiful spaces for your guests.

★ Say Yes. If you have the space or a little extra time to help another teammate, say yes! No one should have to face a tough problem alone, so let's choose to help each other and make each other’s days a bit brighter.

★ Be Wrong. It's okay to make mistakes. Mistakes are how we learn and improve. Five Star Bnb is a place where it’s okay to make mistakes, and we want to talk about them so we can learn, too.

★ Embrace the Unexpected. We never know what we will encounter here on a daily basis, and that's okay! Together, we embrace whatever comes our way and combine our creativity to find the right solution.

★ Take pride. Take pride and ownership of our spaces. These spaces are brought to life by our team's careful craftsmanship and inspired minds, fueled by the anticipation of families reuniting, love being ignited, friends gathering with laughter, and unforgettable memories being created. We’re honored that we get to love these spaces like they are our own!

These aren’t just words on a wall — they guide everything we do.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Part-Time Vacation Rental Cleaner, your attention to detail helps turn ordinary homes into the perfect backdrop for unforgettable trips. You will play a key role in helping guests feel welcome and cared for the moment they walk through the door.

This part-time role (up to 30 hours per week) is ideal for working parents, students, side hustlers, or anyone seeking stable, reliable employment with the flexibility to balance family, school, or other priorities. You’ll typically work between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Clean with a purpose! While listening to your favorite music, podcast, or audiobook, and staying connected to our larger team of cleaning professionals.
This position does require driving to Jefferson, Colorado 1-2 days per week, with opportunities nearby areas such as Lake George and Divide.

The company offers a generous paid time off program designed to support work-life balance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cover up to 4–8 cleaning jobs per week, with the potential for additional work if things are going well

  • Perform one or more daily cleans, understanding that our units can take anywhere from 1 to 5 hours to clean

  • Occasionally accommodate late check-outs and early check-ins

  • Communicate with property managers about damages, repairs, or special needs; photos or videos may be requested

  • Complete our cleaning checklist thoroughly at every single clean

  • Learn and follow our systems and cleaning standards

  • Flexibility for last-minute location changes or to assist teammates when needed

  • May be asked to help another cleaner or perform inspections before finishing the day

Training & Trial Period (120 Days)

All new cleaners start with a 120-day paid training period designed to set you up for success.

  • First 30 days: Hands-on training alongside experienced cleaners

  • Next 60 days: Solo cleans with regular inspections and feedback

  • Final 30 days: Reduced inspections as you build consistency and confidence

Our inspections are meant to help you improve quickly—not to penalize you. Most cleaners see rapid growth as they apply feedback.

Growth Opportunities

After training, top performers are promoted to Division Leads and assigned their own set of properties.

  • Take ownership of your units and maintain 5-star standards

  • Earn raises and performance-based bonuses

  • Receive ongoing feedback tailored to your properties

Small Business Start Program Option

For those interested in working independently:

  • Complete our 120-day training as a W-2 employee

  • Earn a certificate of completion

  • Option to transition to 1099 contractor status

QUALIFICATIONS:
