Bucks County Estate Traders is seeking a dependable, experienced Facilities & Property Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance, repair, and appearance of our commercial buildings, warehouses, and residential rental properties.

This is not just a handyman position—we’re looking for someone who takes ownership, identifies problems before they become costly repairs, and enjoys maintaining high-quality properties. The ideal candidate notices loose handrails before someone reports them, fixes small issues before they become expensive problems, and takes pride in keeping every property clean, safe, and operating at a high standard.

Responsibilities

● Perform general building maintenance and repairs at commercial and residential properties
● Complete carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and trim repairs
● Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs (within your experience and code requirements)
● Repair doors, locks, hardware, shelving, and fixtures
● Conduct preventative maintenance and routine building inspections
● Prepare rental properties between tenants
● Perform seasonal exterior maintenance, including landscaping, snow removal, and property cleanup
● Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized work when needed
● Keep maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment organized
● Document completed work using a smartphone or tablet
● Maintain a clean, professional company vehicle and represent the company professionally while on job sites

Qualifications

● 5+ years of maintenance, facilities, construction, or property management experience
● Strong knowledge of carpentry and general building repairs
● Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and drywall
● Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
● Excellent organizational and time management skills
● Valid driver’s license
● Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and safely work from ladders

Preferred Experience

● Commercial building maintenance
● Residential rental property maintenance
● Basic HVAC troubleshooting
● Forklift or lift equipment experience
● Experience coordinating outside contractors
