Job description

We manage a portfolio of short-term rental cabins and lodges in the Hocking Hills area and are looking for a reliable, self-directed maintenance technician to join our team. You'll be the boots-on-the-ground keeping our properties in top condition between guest stays, handling, minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and urgent turnaround issues.

This role works closely with our cleaning team and operations coordinator to keep properties guest-ready at all times.

What You'll Do

  • Perform general property maintenance: plumbing, HVAC filters, electrical troubleshooting, appliance repairs, deck and exterior upkeep
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance across multiple properties
  • Respond to maintenance issues reported after guest stays or during occupancy
  • Coordinate with cleaning crew and management to prioritize turnarounds
  • Handle minor landscaping, trash removal, and seasonal property prep
  • Source supplies and materials as needed; track completed work

What We're Looking For

  • General handyman/maintenance experience
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (you'll be moving between properties)
  • Responsive and communicative
  • Able to work independently and manage your own schedule day-to-day
  • Weekend availability on an as-needed basis

Nice to Have

  • Experience with vacation rental, hospitality, or property management settings
  • Basic HVAC, plumbing, or electrical experience.
  • Familiarity with the Hocking Hills area

Why Work With Us

We are a professionally run operation with a strong local reputation. You'll have consistent work, a flexible schedule, a supportive team, and the autonomy to own your role.
