Job description

Universal Fire Protection is looking to hire a highly-motivated Kitchen Fire Suppression Technician and Extinguisher Technician for our rapidly growing Fire Protection division. Duties to include: inspection, installation, and repair of pre-engineered kitchen fire suppression systems (hoods) from various manufacturers and service and inspect fire extinguishers; This includes leveraging our industry-leading expertise for systems testing and inspections, identification of NFPA code and non-conformance issues, and on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs. Maintain inspection and repair documentation on all work performed. To fuel our continued, organic growth, selling and promoting additional products and services would also play an important part of the role.

Qualifications
– High school diploma/GED required
– 2+ years of fire protection experience required
– Strong communication and customer service skills
– Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
– Valid driver’s license required
– Know and understand NFPA10
– Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
