Job description

Eaton's IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Inspector - 1st Shift to join our team in Glenolden, PA!
The core hours are 7 am - 3:30 pm, M-F.
The hourly rate for this position is $24 per hour.

What you'll do:
The Inspector performs verification inspection of Eaton's suppliers detailed components. They also perform verification inspections of Eaton's product for compliance to customers requirements.
In this function, you will:
  • Read and interpret blueprints and use precision measurement equipment
  • Use thorough knowledge of measurement systems and techniques including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Be familiar with the requirements of ISO9001 and AS9100
  • Interact with co-workers and customer representative
  • Perform verification inspection of Eaton's supplier's detailed components'
  • Performs verification inspection of Eaton's product for compliance to customer's requirements
  • Assist customer source inspectors as required

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED equivalent from accredited institution
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in manufacturing and/or military environment
• Minimum of two (2) years experience reading and interpreting blueprints
• Experience using precision measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, comparator, thread gauge, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Completion of a Technical Degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience with Coordinate Measurement Machine use, programming ability is preferred.
