Job Summary:Responsible for selling and servicing Windstar Cruises groups program and all Windstar products through Groups reservations channels, Email, Lead generation contacts and other sources as assigned. Provide prompt service to Groups line, assuring calls are answered and serviced effectively with a focus on appropriate efficiency. Manage Group progression from selling, option, confirmation, sailing or cancellation, to post cruise follow up.  Provide appropriate service and sales closure balance to achieve goals and represent Windstar cruises as 180 degrees from Ordinary. 

Responsibilities
  • Sell cruises, packages, air, transfers, hotels, and shore excursions to Groups effectively. 
  • Process and create Group requests through the Reservations system in an effective and timely manner, meeting department turnaround time goals. 
  • Process inquiries, reservations, revisions, and cancellations using reservation system and CRM. 
  • Attend Sales focused Webinars or other Sales Events to assist in promoting Windstar Groups program. 
  • Actively engage with the Windstar Sales Team and RSMs to facilitate group requests. 
  • Monitor group bookings from option period through sailing for proper oversight and service. 
  • Manage and update records for any inbound lead generation opportunities. 
  • Complete and process required accounting paperwork. 
  • Adhere to company policy and procedures, including call and booking processing. 
  • Advise Group Supervisor of all issues in a timely manner, with details of history and a recommended resolution. 
  • Support in managing National Account Hosted Sailing program with key accounts. 
  • Demonstrate a strong functional knowledge of the Windstar product and services. 
  • Provide management with proactive input and contribute to regularly scheduled meetings. 
  • Provide Backup support in phone queue as needed on any line. 
  • Perform other duties and assignments effectively as assigned by management. 
Qualifications
  • A minimum of two (2) years sales experience, with high level service attributes. 
  • Cruise, travel or hotel related sales, service field experience preferred. 
  • Communicate in writing and verbally with professionalism, credibility, and confidence.  
  • Strong belief in personalized, effective customer service. 
  • Must demonstrate an enthusiastic and professional approach to all responsibilities. 
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Willingness to work any assigned shift including weekends.  

Work Environment:

Remote work.  Hard wire internet connection is required.  Must meet ergonomic standards for a home office with a private area to work.
