MOBILE DIESEL TECHNICIAN

The Role

We are hiring Mobile Diesel Technicians across multiple states in the Southeast.

This role is for technicians who:

  • Prefer working independently
  • Thrive outside of a traditional shop
  • Are comfortable handling road calls and field repairs

You will operate a fully equipped service truck and perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.

Compensation

This is a performance-based role.

  • $32 โ€“ $45+ per hour (based on experience & performance)
  • Our top Mobile Technician earned $164,135 in 2025, with the average technician earning over $100,000 annually.
  • Pay guarantee - depending upon performance

Your income is driven by your efficiency, skill, and work ethic.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Respond to road calls and perform on-site repairs
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems
  • Complete preventative maintenance (PMs) in the field
  • Accurately document work and hours
  • Maintain your service truck and inventory
  • Deliver a high level of customer service on-site
What Weโ€™re Looking For
  • Diesel technician experience (mobile experience preferred)
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable traveling within an assigned region
  • Valid driverโ€™s license (CDL preferred)
  • Strong time management and accountability
