Job description

Diamond Technical Services, Inc will be mobilizing Level II UTSW Technicians for an ongoing-long term Project in Pennsylvania. DTS is a trusted engineering and technical services consulting and inspection firm serving utility, oil and gas, chemical, power and several other industries nationwide. We are a true one-stop shop!
Opportunity:
We are seeking experienced Level II Ultrasonic Shear Wave (UTSW) inspection technicians
  • Ongoing-Long Term Project (2+ years)
  • Per Diem

Responsibilities:
  • Perform UTSW inspections and other NDE techniques in accordance with DTS procedure, client specifications and industry standards (ASME, APE, AWS, etc.)
  • Calibrate and operate advanced UT equipment and scanning systems
  • Interpret and evaluate inspection data, calculations and results
  • Prepare clear, accurate technical reports
  • Communication and interaction with site project managers, engineers, etc.
  • Comply with all standard, DTS and site safety standards
Requirements:
  • Current Level II UTSW certification
  • Documented UT classroom training hours
  • Documented UT OJT hours
  • Hands-on experience with UTSW equipment and software
  • Strong understanding of ASME, API and AWS codes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in new construction
  • Ability to pass background check
  • Ability to pass drug screen at hire and random throughout duration of project
  • US Citizenship is REQUIRED
