Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

· Develop understanding of safety, quality, financial analysis, project controls, design, communications, scope, contracts within the key phases of project lifecycle.

· Develop, optimize, and update project schedules for multiple, simultaneous large operations using scheduling software such as Primavera P6.

· Assist in developing Project Plan and coordinate staffing efforts for field positions.

· Monitor/control construction through administrative interactions with on-site Superintendent to ensure program work is built on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.

· Shadow various Project Managers to understand the relationship of the contractor prime relationship, to facilitate construction activities.

· Participate in project kickoff meetings, weekly and monthly project meeting, and monthly project report out reviews as well as project closeout lessons learned.

· Enroll in On-line Project Management training courses offered by the company to better understand a project's lifecycle and where and how the coursework integrates into that cycle.

· Participate in active projects to reinforce PM learning components and how each component of the master Project Plan applies to the project.


Qualifications
 
  • Experience with Primavera Scheduling Software, Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, and Procore are a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word and Excel).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current/future employer sponsorship of a work visa.
 
Minimum Educational Background ( Preffered):
BS or Assoicates degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
 
Minimum Years of Relevant Experience:
2+ years 

Salary Range: $60,300/yr to $90,400/yr (will be dependent upon level of experience)
