Role: Line Locator

Position Description:
As a Line Locator, you'll be responsible for accurately identifying and marking underground utilities, conducting surveys, and ensuring safe excavation practices.
Essential Duties:
  • Locate and mark underground utilities using electromagnetic equipment
  • Perform underground utility surveys for pipeline and power line projects
  • Create detailed maps using GPS systems
  • Install and stake out utility locations
  • Document and maintain accurate records of all locates
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Communicate effectively with contractors and project teams

Required Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of line locating experience
  • Proficiency in GPS mapping systems
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to read and interpret utility maps and construction drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
  • Physical ability to walk long distances and work in various weather conditions

Role Details:
Schedule: Monday-Friday with an on call rotation, overtime guaranteed
Location: Douglas and Gillette, WY area
Pay: starting at $28 (1099)
