Job Summary
This position works under the direction of the Construction Services Manager and with the Energy Specialist in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction Department. This position provides secretarial support by opening, sorting, scanning, and electronically filing utility bills. Assists in preparing reports as needed. Attendance, physical presence, and timeliness are required and are essential functions of this position.
Essential Functions
  • Opens, sorts, scans, and records daily utility bills.
  • Uses office machines including personal computers, scanner, and 10-key.
  • Creates/manipulates files in PDF, Excel, and Word and other similar platforms.
  • Responsible in verification of accurate accounting procedures and payments.
  • Uploads monthly utility bills into tracking software.

  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Prior office work and customer service experience preferred. Accounting and working with various utility companies also preferred.
