Toolroom Utility Associate

1st Shift (Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm)

Position Summary

The Toolroom Utility Associate supports the Toolroom team by preparing and staging tooling components for changeovers, organizing and maintaining spare parts inventory, and assisting with tooling changeovers and maintenance activities. This role works under the direct supervision of the Team Lead/Tool Maker and plays a key part in ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality production operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work under the direct supervision of the Team Lead/Tool Maker
  • Prepare and stage tooling components for changeovers
  • Organize and maintain inventory of changeover and spare components
  • Assist with tooling changeovers under the direction of a Tool Maker
  • Disassemble and reassemble dies, jigs, and fixtures as directed
  • Create and modify tooling changeover instructions as needed
  • Maintain strong housekeeping standards (5S)
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Follow all safety policies and proactively promote a safe work environment
  • Demonstrate strong time management and communication skills
