Spirit of the Position:The LAZ Utilities/Janitorial Associate plays a vital role in ensuring our airport facilities remain clean, safe, and welcoming for all guests and employees. This position is responsible for performing routine cleaning, upkeep, and utility duties throughout the airports parking and common areas.

Principal Job Duties:

  • Maintaining HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning)
  • Electrical inspections and light replacement
  • Checking generators and power systems
  • Preventive maintenance on equipment 800, 7400 (2) walk behinds, snow blowers
  • Repairing walls, ceilings, fencing and floors
  • Fixing doors, locks, and windows
  • Painting and patching damaged areas

      • Previous janitorial, custodial, or general maintenance experience preferred

      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

      Physical Demands:

      • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.

      • Frequent bending, kneeling, and walking for extended periods

      • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including inclement weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.)
