Job Title: Site Supervisor – Mailroom Operations (Onsite)
Location: Tampa, FL 33607
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 1-Hour Lunch

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Mailroom Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations in a high-volume corporate mailroom environment. This position supports UnitedHealth Group and requires a candidate with managerial experience, proven skills in mailroom operations, shipping and receiving, and familiarity with major carriers such as FedEx, UPS, USPS. The role combines leadership responsibilities with direct operational work and requires a proactive, dependable, and professional individual.


Key Responsibilities

Mailroom & Shipping Operations

  • Oversee all incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and shipments.

  • Manage shipping and receiving activities using FedEx, UPS, USPS, and other carriers.

  • Track, process, and distribute packages in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Utilize inventory tracking systems for supplies and mailroom assets.

Team Supervision

  • Supervise and support a 1–3 person team; may operate solo on shifts.

  • Provide on-the-job training and workflow guidance to team members.

  • Maintain professionalism and high customer service standards.

  • Ensure accuracy of employee time records and payroll punches.

Customer Service & Client Relations

  • Act as the on-site point of contact for client inquiries and issues.

  • Ensure contract compliance and uphold Ricoh Service Excellence standards.

  • Prepare and submit required site reports and documentation.

Operational Efficiency

  • Manage resources to meet cost, quality, and deadline goals.

  • Maintain efficient workflow and hold team accountable for performance.

  • Assist in resolving invoicing, order, and pricing discrepancies.

  • Support P&L management and assist in financial reporting as needed.


Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum 2+ years of mailroom, shipping/receiving, or related experience.

  • Prior managerial or supervisory experience required.

  • Experience delivering both classroom and informal training sessions.

  • Proficiency with shipping systems and inventory tracking tools.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to operate advanced mailroom equipment and remain updated on current technology.
