  • Oversee and operationalize deep user-research programs, including field work, customer interviews and voice-of-customer loops.
  • Champion customer centricity across the organization; ensure insights directly inform product strategy, GTM plans, and value-proposition development.

Competitive Intelligence

  • Track key competitors, threats, and emerging trends.
  • Deliver actionable insights to sales, product, and executive stakeholders through competitive analysis tools.
  • Inform long-term strategy and short-term GTM motions by synthesizing competitive moves and market shifts.

Go-to-Market (GTM) Leadership

  • Develop and own GTM plans for all major launches, ensuring alignment across Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations.
  • Define pricing and packaging recommendations with a rigorous understanding of customer value, competitive benchmarks, and profitability targets.
  • Create compelling, customer-centric launch messaging, content, and enablement materials.

Sales Training & Enablement

  • Lead development of product training programs, sales playbooks, and value-based selling tools that elevate sales performance.
  • Partner closely with Sales Leadership to ensure teams are fully equipped to position products, overcome objections, and win against competitors.

Catalog & Portfolio Management

  • Oversee product catalog governance, including product lifecycle management, naming conventions, SKU optimization, and portfolio clarity.
  • Ensure product information and documentation are accurate, consistent, and aligned across all channels.

Operational & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Serve as the connective tissue between Product, Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to ensure seamless planning, forecasting, and execution.
  • Lead operational planning processes that tie product strategy to revenue goals, marketing programs, and sales capacity.
  • Drive alignment on KPIs, measurement plans, and post-launch performance analysis.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in product marketing, product strategy, or related functions, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience leading product marketing in a complex, multi-product environment (B2B, industrial, manufacturing).
  • Strong expertise in user research, customer insights, and translating findings into strategy.
  • Demonstrated success shaping differentiated product positioning and executing large-scale GTM initiatives.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, storytelling, and executive communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in market sizing, segmentation, pricing, and competitive analysis.
  • Ability to manage and mentor high-performing teams while building strong cross-functional partnerships.
  • Comfort at both 30,000-ft strategy level and hands-on execution level.
