Job description

One Federal Solution is seeking a Facility Security Assessment Specialist to support a Government Client by conducting analytical and operational activities that strengthen the security posture of federal facilities. The successful candidate will support Facility Security Assessments (FSAs), perform risk and data analysis, coordinate with headquarters and field personnel, prepare executive reports and briefings, and assist with the continuous improvement of facility security assessment programs and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain procedures supporting the assessment of risks to federal facilities.
  • Capture, validate, and analyze data utilizing the FPS Gateway and associated facility assessment information.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of regionally approved Facility Security Assessments (FSAs) and document deficiencies related to policy compliance, content, and quality.
  • Develop quarterly national trend and analytical reports based on Facility Security Assessments.
  • Coordinate with field personnel in support of Executive Summaries for enhanced Facility Security Assessments.
  • Coordinate Facility Security Assessment presentations to ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Deliver Modified Infrastructure Survey Tool (MIST) briefings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as the Headquarters point of contact for Facility Security Assessment requests and external agency coordination.
  • Provide Help Desk support for FPS Gateway users, including account management, issue triage, and user assistance.
  • Conduct statistical reporting utilizing Facility Security Assessment and Threat Assessment Report (TAR) data.
  • Develop responses to inquiries from GAO, DHS, OMB, Congress, and other oversight organizations.
  • Validate facility inventory information and resolve discrepancies through coordination with internal and external partners.
  • Gather, document, and maintain business requirements supporting Facility Security Assessment operations.
  • Coordinate Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities with Information Technology and contractor support personnel.
  • Assist in developing future system requirements and enhancements for the Facility Security Assessment program.
  • Track countermeasure recommendations and monitor implementation activities across the Agency.
  • Coordinate with GSA and regional personnel regarding leased facilities, new construction, and major renovation projects requiring Facility Security Assessments.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience conducting analytical and support activities related to facility security, physical security, risk assessment, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of project management experience supporting technical or operational programs.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience developing Statements of Work (SOWs) or similar technical documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of technical and operational data.
  • Ability to read, interpret, utilize, and comply with management policies, regulations, and directives.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Federal facility security, physical security, or homeland security programs.
  • Experience conducting Facility Security Assessments (FSAs) or physical security risk assessments.
  • Experience using FPS Gateway, MIST, or similar facility security assessment systems.
  • Experience analyzing threat, vulnerability, or risk assessment data.
  • Experience preparing executive reports, briefings, and presentations.
  • Experience supporting GAO, DHS, OMB, or Congressional reporting requirements.
  • Experience coordinating with GSA or other federal agencies on facility security initiatives.
