POSITION SUMMARY
Plans, organizes, and oversee' s operation functions within the organization to ensure that policies and procedures are followed from day to day.
POSITION DETAILS
  • Assist in planning a daily production schedule, working closely with the production team to ensure jobs are able to meet the customer on time deliveries demands.
  • Review and assist with production as needed on scheduling staffing as needed
  • Determine the material resources required
  • Manage human and material resources to meet production targets
  • Make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification, and procurement
  • Work out and implement standard operating procedures for production operations
  • Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to
  • Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
  • Set production goals and ensure the goals are being met.
  • Determine and implement improvements to the production process
  • Prepare and maintain production reports
  • Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Oversee all activities within Operations, this includes interviewing, hiring, training, planning, receiving, picking, production, shipping, inventory, etc.:
  • Responsible for managing performance of associates through in and out put.
  • Responsible for assuring the training of new associates within the operation teams.
  • Addressing employee issues or concerns as they arise according to company policy.
  • Ensure processes and procedures are being followed by departments.
  • To ensure Vista's core responsibilities are upheld on a day-to-day operation.
  • End of day result, to produce a quality product to the end user, within a timely manner.

Requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Expected to be on the floor 8 hours a day to accurately monitor the floor and ensure team stays on track.
  • Must be proficient with the Warehouse Management System
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to communicate directly with the customer.
