PART TIME ONLY (Flexible schedule)

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations for a part-time role based in Lexington, Kentucky. This position is well suited for someone who is comfortable managing routine accounting activity, maintaining accurate records, and working independently during onsite days Wednesday through Friday. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with core bookkeeping functions and a strong command of QuickBooks.


Responsibilities:

โ€ข Maintain accurate financial records by entering and updating accounting data in QuickBooks and related systems.

โ€ข Process vendor invoices, prepare payments, and monitor outgoing transactions to keep accounts payable current.

โ€ข Track incoming payments, issue customer billing, and follow up on outstanding balances to support accounts receivable activities.

โ€ข Reconcile bank accounts and review credit card transactions to ensure records are complete and discrepancies are resolved promptly.

โ€ข Support regular bookkeeping tasks such as organizing documentation, verifying financial details, and maintaining orderly records for reporting purposes.

โ€ข Assist with general data entry and financial administration while helping keep accounting information accurate and up to date.

โ€ข At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience in an office or business environment.
โ€ข Proficiency with QuickBooks and confidence working with routine accounting transactions.
