About Us

The Nurture Group specializes in youth athletic development through our signature Track Tots (ages 2-6) and Track Stars (ages 7-12) programs. We believe in creating positive, encouraging environments where young athletes can discover their potential and develop a lifelong love for track and field.

Our growing team of dedicated coaches delivers both seasonal camps and year-round training sessions. We're committed to setting new standards in youth athletics coaching through innovative programming and developmental expertise.

The Position

We're seeking an energetic Track & Field Coach to join our expanding team. This role offers the unique opportunity to work with both beginning athletes in our Track Tots program and developing competitors in our Track Stars program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging track and field sessions for diverse age groups
  • Create progressive training plans that develop fundamental athletic skills
  • Maintain accurate attendance and safety records
  • Provide an encouraging and structured learning environment
  • Build positive relationships with athletes and parents
  • Ensure participant engagement and program retention
  • Adapt coaching methods to support individual development
  • Support both recreational and competitive track and field goals


Qualifications & Experience:

  • USATF Level 1 Coach Certification (preferred - training available)
  • Experience coaching young athletes
  • Strong knowledge of track and field fundamentals
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • First Aid and Safety Certification (training provided)
  • Advanced USATF certifications are valuable but not required
  • Multi-event coaching experience preferred
