Job Title: Conference Center Associate Coordinator
Location: Portsmouth, NH

Job Summary
A Conference Center Associate Coordinator, working with direct supervision, provides on-site support to Conference Center visitors and in the delivery of conference center services. Responsibilities may include working closely with internal clients to plan, schedule and implement small meetings held within a designated conference center, Assist with facilitating catering, troubleshooting audio-visual technology and general meeting administration for all Conference Center meetings.

Job Responsibilities
List of the role's key duties and/or responsibilities (up to a maximum of eight) including important features of the job, the general nature, and the level of the work that an employee performs.
1. Provide outstanding level of customer service designed to exceed the goals and objectives of each client using the Conference Center.
2. Oversee day-to-day utilization and day of assignment of conference rooms and
manages space by using web-based applications such as `RESERVE and Outlook.`
3. Work directly with internal clients to develop and finalize program for small events.
4. Greets and directs incoming clients and meeting attendees in the conference center. Provides support, expertise, problem resolution, supplies, information as needed.
5. Provide audio-visual equipment or facilities support as needed
6. Responsible for the production, distribution and follow up on all reports associated with conference room activity as defined by Conference Center standard work documentation .
7. Responsible for closing of the Conference Center and closing checklists.
8. Responsible for maintaining conference room space as well as personal work area. This may include daily walk-throughs using checklist as well as interim sweeps throughout the day.
9. Perform additional duties, including project-related work, as assigned by Conference Center Supervisor
10. May have responsibilities for after-hours events or weekend meetings.
11. Provides direct assistance to Social Gatherings and other internal networking events.
Associate`s Degree, plus 0-2 years of work experience in Hospitality. Displays strong customer service skills, with high attention to detail. Must have strong technical aptitude and interest in learning new technology. Must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong written and oral communication skills. Consistently demonstrates polished interpersonal and organizational skills. Demonstrates the ability to work in a team environment and independently. Proficiency with Microsoft Products.
