Job description

Summary Statement Love golf and connecting with people. Join our team as a Golf Shop Attendant and help create a welcoming, first-class experience for every guest who walks through the door. In this role, you'll be the friendly face of the pro shop-greeting patrons, assisting with purchases and reservations, answering questions, and helping golfers get ready for a great day on the course.

Your positive attitude and customer-focused approach will help make each visit enjoyable and memorable. This is a great opportunity to build customer service skills, work in a fun and active golf course environment, and be part of a team that takes pride in delivering exceptional experiences. This position is open to individuals age 16 and older and offers up to 19 hours per week, including evenings and weekends-perfect for students or anyone seeking flexible, part-time work in a dynamic setting.

Essential Functions Works in the Golf Pro Shop, stocks shelves with products, cashiers, collects money, assists customers with product questions, sales of food and beverages, and t-shirt management. Picks up balls on the driving range, cleans golf carts, and other assorted tasks as assigned by management. Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to: Exercise some independent judgment; Perform basic mathematical calculations; Operate a cash register and calculate change quickly and accurately; Work extended weekend hours; Interact with the public and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner; Display an attitude of cooperation and work harmoniously with all levels of city employees, the general public and other organizations; Communicate effectively in the English language at a level necessary for efficient job performance; Complete assignments in a timely fashion; Understand and comply with all rules, policies, and regulations; Maintain prompt and regular attendance; Perform all essential and marginal functions as assigned by an authorized employee, supervisor and/or manager with or without reasonable accommodation.
