Job description

Role Summary

Urban Outfitters is seeking an Assistant Concept Designer for the Women's Apparel team to support the development of trend-driven concepts that inspire seasonal collections. This role combines trend research, AI and CAD visualization, and cross-functional collaboration to translate fashion insights into compelling design direction while staying closely connected to the Urban Outfitters customer.

The ideal candidate is creative, adaptable, and proactive, with a passion for fashion, strong visual storytelling skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Role Responsibilities
  • Research seasonal fashion, print, and graphic trends across social media, runway, street style, influencers, and the competitive market.

  • Translate trend research into focused, visually compelling seasonal concept and print presentations.

  • Use AI and CAD tools to visualize concepts and support the design process.

  • Analyze sales insights, store experience, and customer feedback to understand the Urban Outfitters customer.

  • Collaborate with Design, Buying, and cross-functional partners to support seasonal business goals.

  • Execute projects independently, manage priorities effectively, and communicate progress in a timely manner.

  • Contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative team environment with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
