Job description

Beltway Companies is searching for a Full-Time Evening or Overnight Mobile Diesel Technician to join our team!
Up to $8,000 signing bonus
Pay Range of $22 - $30 per hour based on experience
Evening shift: 2:00PM - 10:00PM
Overnight shift: 11:00PM - 7:00AM

Position Overview:
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools to address electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues
  • Performing scheduled preventative maintenance (PMs) and minor repairs as identified during inspections
  • Completing DVIR write-ups (vehicle inspections) and addressing emergency breakdowns on-site
  • Making repairs to medium and heavy-duty trucks efficiently while maintaining high standards
  • Collaborating with the service desk to discuss vehicle issues and repair needs
  • Conducting routine maintenance, including oil changes, battery replacements, and lubrication
  • Test-driving vehicles to diagnose issues and ensure proper functionality
  • Staying current on warranty policies, vendor guidelines, and ensuring accurate completion of work orders

Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience with mobile diesel mechanics and diagnostics, preferably with medium and/or heavy-duty trucks
  • Must have your own tools
  • A valid driver's license
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles
  • A working knowledge of computers and maintenance applications
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to occasionally work Saturday hours as needed
  • A valid driver's license is required for this position

Salary Description
$22 - $30 / hour
