Position Summary:
Cooperstown All Star Village is seeking reliable, energetic, friendly Bartenders. The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by preparing and serving a wide range of packaged beverages alcoholic and non-alcoholic while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient bar environment
A successful Bartender demonstrates professionalism, speed, and attention to detail while delivering a consistently positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greets?customers as they are at the bar; ensures the area is clean and that utensils, napkins, and other needs have been provided as needed.?
  • Answers questions?regarding?the menu and bar?
  • Delivers?beverages, and other requested items to customers.?
  • Maintain?beer?garden area. Clean and pick up trash as needed.?
  • Collects?empty cans after customers finish their drinks.?
  • Prepares customers' checks and collects payments.?
  • Put up umbrellas and put out chairs daily before morning shifts and put them away at night.?
  • Restock bar area and perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.?
  • Must successfully complete restaurant training course.?
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.?
  • Ability to multitask.?
  • Well-organized with?ability?to take and place beverage orders accurately.?
  • Ability to?operate?point-of-sale systems.?

Preferred
  • Previous?experience as a bartender preferred.?

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods (up to 8-10 hours during busy shifts).
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of items up to 25-40 pounds (cases, kegs, ice, etc.).
  • Ability to bend, reach, and stoop repeatedly throughout a shift.
  • Work environment may include loud noise, dim lighting, and exposure to alcohol, cleaning products, and bar equipment.
  • Must be able to handle and pour beverages quickly and safely.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and peakseason schedules as required.
  • Must be comfortable working in fastpaced, sometimes crowded environments.
  • Requires manual dexterity to operate bar tools, taps, and POS equipment.
  • May require working both indoors and outdoors depending on venue or event setup.
  • Must maintain proper foodsafety and alcoholservice hygiene standards at all times.
