Pelham Hospitality is hiring a Gardening Team Member!

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Planting flowers, shrubs, etc.
  • Weeding beds
  • Mulching and raking
  • Cleaning and upkeep of planters, entrances, pool deck and upper decks
  • Ensure the watering flowers and plants on the grounds
  • Taking care of all groundskeeping supplies, tools and inventory
  • Keeping walkways clear
  • Taking on special landscaping or planting projects as deemed necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Required knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Organization skills and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods walking or standing (up to 10 - 12 hours).
  • Must be able to workdays
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently.
  • Must frequently be outside in the heat and cold temperatures.
  • Must be able to move lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds.
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, reaching overhead, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
