The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in the Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will be the purchasing agent in support of procuring the highest quality of goods at the best possible rate.

Pay $18.00 - $24.00 / hour

What will you do?
  • Procuring goods and services for the operation of the facility
  • Developing and maintaining a service culture that ensures the delivery of superior guest service by all team members
  • Ensure compliance with the internal controls regarding procurement procedures
  • Assist in the purchasing of operational goods and services and capital assets
  • Assist in reviewing all purchasing documents for completeness and accuracy
  • Vendor relations
  • Ensures the department adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of all promotions and events
More about you
  • At least one year of purchasing experience
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Computer and Microsoft Office skills
  • Microsoft Office Skills should include the utilization of VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables in Excel
  • Birchstreet software knowledge/experience is preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
