Upholsterer | $22.01/hr | 4-Day Work Week | Weekly Pay | Newberg, OR

GLISS General Labor & Industrial Staffing Solutions is hiring Upholsterers for a respected manufacturing company in Newberg, Oregon. If you enjoy working with your hands, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and are looking for a stable career with a three-day weekend every week, we want to hear from you!

Pay

$22.01 per hour

Schedule

Swing Shift

Monday–Thursday

3:30 PM – 2:00 AM

Overtime may be available on Fridays.

What You’ll Be Doing

Upholster seating and equipment using foam, vinyl, adhesives, and hand tools.

Glue foam to armatures and prepare components for assembly.

Form, glue, and staple upholstery materials to finished products.

Assemble and package completed seating products.

Work closely with teammates to maintain quality and production standards.

Follow all safety procedures while maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.

Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Comfortable performing repetitive work while maintaining attention to detail.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Understanding of workplace safety procedures.

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 35 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, and use your hands throughout the shift.

Wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and respiratory protection when needed.
