Position Summary The Upholsterer will be responsible to make or repair upholstery for Living Spaces designed furniture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Be responsible to make or repair upholstery for Living Spaces designed furniture.
Fit, install, and secure material on frames, using hand tools, power tools, glue, cement, and/or staples.
Build furniture up with loose fiber stuffing, cotton, felt, and/or foam padding to form smooth rounded surfaces.
Make, restore, and/or create custom upholstered furniture, using hand tools and knowledge of sketches and design specifications.

Qualifications

Other Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Basic knowledge of fabric and use of upholstery or cutting hand tools is a plus. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Tools and Equipment Used: Manual and power tools; calculator, ruler, scissors, and other basic and commonly used tools to develop and complete an upholstery production project.

Position Hiring Range

The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time.

Compensation: $19.00 - $25.35

Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members.Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy.Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
