More than 50,000 students are enrolled at one of eight institutions, including the research campus in Columbia and comprehensive four-year universities in Aiken, Upstate and Beaufort. In addition, our Palmetto College campuses in Salkehatchie, Union, Lancaster and Sumter enable students to earn associate or bachelor's degrees through a combination of in-person, online or blended learning.

Inclusive Excellence Statement Advertised Job Summary The Health Science Complex Operator performs duties in the operation and maintenance of the University of South Carolina's energy plants as needed. Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions) Preferred Qualifications High school diploma and 5 years related experience Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Operate and perform maintenance work in various energy facilities.

General knowledge of various trade crafts and communicate both orally and in writing, read and interpret instruction manuals and drawings. Work in a team environment and exercise a professional demeanor. Follow safety guidelines and use initiative and be proactive in discharging duties.
