Job description

Administrative and Licensing Coordinator

This position is to report directly to the Executive Director of Licensing and is responsible for assisting with the overall management of the university's licensing program. The Administrative and Licensing Coordinator is responsible for assisting as a catalyst for the licensing program by interacting with various on-campus entities such as the University Bookstore, Athletics, Auxiliary Services, Purchasing, Risk Management and the University Counsel office in an effort to maximize Old Dominion University's licensing program. The Administrative and Licensing Coordinator will assist the Executive Director of Licensing in building and executing a licensing strategy to best achieve University objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

Demonstrated knowledge of a trademark licensing program. Considerable knowledge of marketing principles and practices. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and/or Mac programs. Demonstrated skill in building relationships with internal and external customers. Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated strong ability to pay close attention to detail to include strong proofreading skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
