Are you a creative, outgoing student with a passion for social media, events, and all things campus life? Join the Tiger Hospitality Student Marketing Team with Aramark Collegiate Hospitality and be part of the engine behind campus dining promotions at Towson University. This paid, part-time role is perfect for students interested in gaining real-world experience in marketing, communications, social media, and events—while working right on campus. You’ll support a wide range of initiatives, from digital content creation to hands-on event execution, and play a key role in promoting the campus dining experience to your peers.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $15.00 to $15.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, and be featured in engaging content for social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook), including photos, videos, reels, and graphics
  • Support the planning and execution of fun campus events, like theme dinners, sampling events, and orientation activations
  • Capture and edit video/photo content to promote dining initiatives
  • Promote meal plans and dining locations through tabling, giveaways, and peer-to-peer outreach selling
  • Stay current on social media trends and campus happenings
  • Assist with digital signage and printed marketing collateral
  • Survey students to gather feedback and help improve the dining experience
  • Present dining information at events like Orientation, Open House, and Accepted Student Days
  • Help with basic office tasks and administrative support as needed including pricing audits and delivery of marketing materials

Qualifications
 
  • A current Towson student (preferably studying Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Hospitality, or related fields)
  • Social, friendly, and ready to connect with peers
  • Experience with social media platforms and trends
  • Basic to intermediate experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing software
  • Strong photography and videography skills
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Passion for food, marketing, and student life
  • Demonstrates initiative and the ability to work independently without the need for constant direction or oversight
  • Bonus: experience with event planning, tabling, or brand ambassadorship
