Job description

Adventist Health’s Northwest Heart Center is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiothoracic (CT) Surgeon to join our growing and innovative program in Portland, Oregon. This is an opportunity to help shape the future of a rapidly expanding service line with strong physician leadership, advanced technology and a collaborative cardiovascular team.


Program highlights include:

· Comprehensive surgical practice including complex valve surgery

· Multidisciplinary heart team with experienced general cardiology, interventional and structural heart, electrophysiology, and vascular surgery teams.

· Growing regional cardiovascular service line with four outreach sites and strong referral base

· Dedicated cardiac operating room and experienced heart team

· Universal bed cardiovascular unit

· Robotic assisted and minimally invasive cardiac surgery program

· Transplant and ECMO supported through regional partnership

Qualifications:

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery

Oregon license (or eligible)

Eligible for hospital medical staff members

Minimum of 2 years of experience in adult cardiothoracic surgery highly preferred

New graduates with additional training will be considered.
