Discover Impactful Work:

Join our dedicated Scientific Support team at Unity Lab Services, providing tailored lab services and supply management. We seek an enthusiastic Lab Specialist to be responsible for chemical inventory, lab support functions like glasswash, and scientific support such as buffer preparation, ensuring labs are well-stocked, compliant, and operate efficiently.

A day in the Life:

  • Perform routine laboratory support activities across multiple functions, including delivery of dry ice, collection and distribution of glassware.
  • Glassware washing and sterilization to ensure lab cleanliness and compliance with safety standards.
  • Operates a box truck for local deliveries and pickups as part of daily lab support operations.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by management.

Keys to Success:

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

0-1 year of work experience within a laboratory setting using Tunnel Washers, Miele Washers, and glassware dryer systems.

At least 1 year of experience operating a box truck or similar size vehicle (no CDL required)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a safety-first approach.
  • Ability to read, understand and follow SOPs, safety procedures, SDS documentation, safety procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
