Salary range (but not limited to):

118,700 - 145,100

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. About the role

We're looking for a Senior AI Developer to join our growing team!

What you'll do here:

  • Evolve the MLOps platform to improve the business' operational processes, ensuring robustness, performance, scalability, reliability, and observability.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of software products ranging from workflow orchestrator, APIs/services to front end UI
  • Work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure AI solutions are effectively addressing business needs by leveraging high-quality data and aligning with strategic goals.
  • Ensure seamless integration of AI-driven solutions with existing insurance operations systems, coordinating with IT and operations teams to align on technical requirements and deployment strategies.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in AI and machine learning technologies, applying new techniques and methodologies to enhance the capabilities and efficiency of deployed solutions, while also contributing to the team's knowledge base.
  • Use CI/CD tools and agile methodology to ensure fast and reliable delivery of features and updates.
  • Play a Technical Leader / Mentor role for Squad members and influence the technical roadmap.


What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum 6 years of significant experience in development
  • Strong in Python. Extensive experience in Angular/React is consider an asset.
  • Proficiency with Cloud Infrastructure (ideally AWS), containers, IaC (Terraform), CI/CD, and observability
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business problems into technical solutions; proactive, change agent, and collaborative team player.
  • Experience with automated testing on the backend and UI and familiarity with observability tools and practices
  • Good understanding of GenAI building blocks: prompting techniques, agentic frameworks, evals, guardrails, RAG, embeddings/vectorDBs, model fine tuning, graphDB usage with LLMs, MCP, reasoning models.
  • Strong data engineering skills. Hands-on experience with Databricks technologies like Unity Catalog and Delta Lake is considered an asset.
  • Proficient in AI-assisted coding.
  • A good knowledge of MLOps best practices.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism (FR-EN) is required due to frequent collaboration with English-speaking colleagues across Canada.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
