Job description

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, you will lead team members to manage the plant's process improvement opportunities. You will manage the 2nd Shift production team to attain production and quality goals, identify and resolve production issues, and ensure production resources including materials, equipment, and employees are available to maintain production schedules. You will support continuous improvement objectives in safety, quality, cost, and customer service while building an engaged, team-oriented workforce. This role is based onsite at our Russellville, AR manufacturing facility.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Monitor production to ensure quality, productivity, and cost standards are maintained across shifts.
  • Provide training and resources to employees to ensure they are successfully performing job responsibilities.
  • Support sanitation operations to promote a clean and food-safe environment.
  • Identify production issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective actions through root cause analysis.
  • Enforce plant rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Evaluate employee performance, communicate expectations, and provide coaching to improve work performance.
  • Support plant and company safety programs and promote adherence to safety requirements including lock-out/tag-out, personal protective equipment, and confined space entry.
  • Lead teams in achieving continuous improvement objectives related to safety, quality, cost, and customer service.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Food Science, Agricultural Sciences, or another natural science discipline preferred.
  • At least 3 years of management experience.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • SAP experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and loss elimination.
  • Must be available to rotate to other shifts or areas periodically.

Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

Compensation 

Annual Base Salary: $64,000.00 - $80,000.00

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
