Shift: Night (4x12-Hour | 18:30 โ€“ 07:00)
Schedule: 4x12 Nights, Every Other Weekend
Charting System: Epic
Float Required: Yes โ€“ IMC
Call Requirement: No
Note: Auto-offer role. No first-time travelers. EPIC experience required. Must be willing to float within scope to IMC. High-acuity ICU with trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro patients.

Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality critical care in a fast-paced Surgical/Medical ICU environment. The RN will manage complex, multisystem critically ill patients including trauma, cardiac, neuro, and stroke cases while working in a Level high-acuity setting with advanced monitoring and life-support technologies.

Job duties:
  • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill ICU patients with trauma, cardiovascular, neurological, and surgical conditions.
  • Perform continuous hemodynamic monitoring and manage patients requiring invasive monitoring such as arterial lines and central venous pressure monitoring.
  • Administer and titrate vasoactive, cardiac, sedation, and neuromuscular blockade infusions per ICU protocols.
  • Manage ventilated patients, including care of endotracheal tubes, tracheostomies, BiPAP/CPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy.
  • Care for patients requiring advanced neurological support including ICP monitoring, EVD management, post-craniotomy care, and stroke protocols.
  • Assist with and manage complex devices such as CRRT, IABP, and other critical life-support equipment.
  • Provide care for patients with multisystem organ failure including sepsis, pulmonary embolism, and acute respiratory failure.
  • Perform and assist with bedside procedures including chest tube management, central/PICC line care, arterial line management, and procedural sedation monitoring.
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to dysrhythmias, and initiate emergency interventions including code response.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary ICU teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacy, and rapid response teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:

Licensure: Active RN License (Compact or State specific as required)
Experience: Minimum 2โ€“3 years ICU experience (strong critical care background required; no new grads)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Other requirement: Epic experience required. Strong experience in ventilator management, vasoactive drips, neuro/trauma ICU care, and advanced critical care monitoring.
