This position is primarily remote, enabling you to provide your therapeutic services from the comfort of your home while occasionally collaborating with colleagues in our outpatient office as needed. • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the symptoms, intensity, and frequency of mood disorders in clients.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on individual client needs, preferences, and personal goals.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and beneficial self-care practices.
• Monitor client progress regularly and make appropriate adjustments to treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Engage in inter-disciplinary teamwork, working closely with psychiatrists and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care.
• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment to enhance your clinical interventions.
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation consistent with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education opportunities to foster your professional growth.
• Advocate for mental health awareness and stigma reduction within communities, ensuring clients receive necessary resources and support.

Our therapists work closely with individuals experiencing varying degrees of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will also have the opportunity to engage with diverse groups such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. • A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to establish a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy and a non-judgmental stance toward clients’ experiences are key to your practice.
• Strong organizational skills and effective time management capabilities to handle a diverse caseload efficiently.

• Previous experience working with mood disorders and evidence-based therapeutic treatments.
• Familiarity with digital therapy platforms and online client engagement tools.
• Proficiency in group therapy settings and familiarity with issues faced by marginalized communities.

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
