Job description

Make a difference in the life of a young student as a Registered Nurse (RN) supporting a school setting near Naperville, IL. This contract opportunity provides the chance to offer specialized care while enhancing your experience in school nursing—ideal for nurses seeking supplemental hours in a rewarding environment.

Enjoy consistent, predictable scheduling with onsite hours every Friday morning from 8:45am to 11:45am during the academic year, running from August 13, 2026, to May 28, 2027. You'll work directly with a four-year-old student who requires oxygen therapy, playing a crucial role in supporting their health and enabling their participation in school activities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Illinois
  • Previous experience in a school nursing setting
  • Critical care experience strongly preferred
  • Genuine desire to support pediatric needs in an educational environment
  • LPN credentials will not be considered

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide vigilant monitoring and care for the student, including oxygen management
