As a licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting ethical and compassionate individual therapy sessions via secure video chat, ensuring a safe environment for client interactions.

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current, state-issued mental health counselor license allowing independent practice. Acceptable credentials include:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Psychologist (PsyD)
• No limited or provisional licenses; no disciplinary actions on your record.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards clients' concerns.
• Proficient computer literacy, including experience with teletherapy platforms.
• A reliable computer with webcam and audio capabilities, along with a stable internet connection for effective virtual counseling.

While specific experience may vary, preference will be given to candidates with:

• Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations.
• Previous engagement in remote counseling or teletherapy practice.
• Proficiency in working with various therapy modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches.
