Job description

This is a temporary project need. Anticipated duration is 2-3 months.

Complete rough carpentry work, site logistical work,fencing, deck and platform building, protection systems, construction wasteareas, and jobsite cleanup.
Shape or cut materials to specified measurements.
Erect scaffolding and ladders, as needed.
Install structures and fixtures including but not limitedto windows, frames, floorings, trim, and hardware.
Review jobsite needs with superintendents and foremen, andcoordinates construction.
Estimate, inventory, monitor, and request time, staff,materials, and equipment needed to complete work.
Operate equipment such as forklifts, backhoe, skid steer,excavator, compactor, and construction hoist.
Assist with the overall site safety and quality programsas required (including daily participation in Pre-Task Plans) and ensure Tradeemployees/subcontractors compliance with Turner standards and all applicablesafety codes, regulations, and jobsite security.
Inspect all tools and power tools before use to ensurethey are in safe and working condition.
Comply with written safety instructions from tool andequipment manufacturers.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers,contractors, suppliers and other employees.
Ability to travel and accommodate night and weekend workas needed.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Display a high level of teamwork, integrity, commitment,and leadership in daily operations.
Other activities, duties, and responsibilities asassigned.
The hourly rate for this position is 58.51 per unionagreement. Benefits are determined by the applicable Trade Union.
