What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a 3rd shift medical coder, and why are they important?

To thrive as a 3rd Shift Medical Coder, you need strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT coding systems, and typically an AHIMA or AAPC coding certification.
