Job description

As a Member Contact Lending Specialist, you will work closely with our members to uncover their financial needs and offer exceptional consumer loan products. Do you have a passion for service? As a Member Contact Lending Specialist with Community First Credit Union, you will:
  • Deliver exceptional, "WOW" service - every day, every time
  • Interact with members over the telephone to uncover financial needs and provide appropriate solutions utilizing products and services available within the credit union
  • Be key in telling the member's story and working with the underwriting team to identify the best possible solutions for our members, including Home Equity, HELOC, balloon, vehicle, and a wide variety of other consumer loan products
  • Determine the best avenue for loan disbursement to ensure convenience for the member and in support of branch appointment guidelines and contact center goals
  • Customize protection solutions for all applicable lending products to include, but not limited to, payment protection, guarantee asset protection, and warranty
  • Address member questions or concerns pertaining to their accounts, mortgage loans, commercial loans, credit cards, and other products or services offered by the credit union
  • Recognize opportunities to cross-sell all credit union products and referral services to increase services per household and deepen member relationships

We are open in the Member Contact Center from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. The schedule for this position encompasses our hours of operation, including a rotating Saturday morning.
We are looking for a combination of:
  • Associate's Degree in a banking, finance, business, or related field
  • Two years' relevant experience, including prior lending and financial services experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; strong time management and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office suite and web-based software packages
  • The ability to work hard, find solutions, and have fun
  • Passion for providing outstanding service to our members - internal and external
